FOREDOM
The FOREDOM 5240 kit the one most frequently sold for power Woodcarving. The reversible 1/8th Horsepower motor with shielded ball bearings is of industrial grade, operates smoothly and quietly at speeds up to 18,000 RPM and will give many years of reliable service. The new "Neoprene 39" sheath is extremely flexible incorporating a steel liner and silencer. This kit comes complete with the new SMOOTH operating, FCT foot pedal speed control, a type 44 handpiece (including 1/4", 1/8" & 3/32" collets), a tube of special shaft grease, wall hanger and a kit of 11 burrs comprising one 1/4" shaft and one 1/8" shaft tungsten carbide bits, two red aluminum oxide bits, one ruby carver, one carving drill, one mandrel to fit saws and cutting discs, one mandrel for sanding rolls and one vanadium steel cutter. All of the burrs included are very useful for Woodcarving. As with all FOREDOM tools, a full one year motor warranty is provided.

HERE'S THE 1/4 H.P. TYPE "H"
The workhorse of the FOREDOM family, this is just the machine for the Woodcarver who uses an N.S.K. or other high speed grinder for detail work and needs something strong to remove the HEAVY wood in a hurry. With a full 1/4 H.P., 3.2 Amp motor, this unit can run all day without heating up. It operates at speeds up to 20,000 R.P.M. on shielded bearings and comes equipped with an extra long (42") shaft with heavy duty protective sheath and additional strain relief's at both ends.
The 2590 kit, shown on the left, comes with the following:
- Type "H" 1/4 H.P. motor and shaft.
- 44H handpiece with 1/4", 1/8" & 3/32" collets.
- Cast iron "SCH-1" foot control.

This handpiece uses the geared, three-jaw "Jacobs" chuck and will take any size accessory r drill up to 5/32" diameter but will not accept 1/4" shank burrs. Does not require lubrication.
