KNOTTS KNIVES have been hand made by the Knotts family since 1968. They are a very fine tool used by many of the professional carvers. Handles are Walnut and the blades are individually ground, heat treated, polished and honed. The selection that we normally carry is shown here, however, we can get any special knife that you may want on short notice. All outlines are actual size. Their razor edges can be easily maintained using one of our various knife honing sticks of the Power Strop" shown in the sharpening supplies section. These knives are fully guaranteed by "Woodchips" to be completely satisfactory.

These fine knives are forged from high carbon steel. They are hand hammered so that the grain structure is refined, ground and hardened to a full Martensite hardness to give them the best combination of edge holding and ease of sharpening. They are then honed to a razor edge. Use caution as they are very sharp. Handles are of premium straight grained Maple with an oiled finish. This is a Western made tool unlike any other you have used and we guarantee you will be more than pleased with your purchase. Use a strop or "Powerstrop" to keep them sharp.
